Q: Describe your role & involvement with THE HIV STORY PROJECT.

EV: My role was to tell my story of being HIV+ so that it might help others from getting this disease and give hope to those who have HIV/AIDS.

Q: Why did you decide to participate?

EV: I was more than happy to participate in the HIV Story Project. Anytime someone goes to the trouble to spread the word on HIV/AIDS I am on board to help in anyway I can. This disease is forgotten by many, AIDS fatigue… It needs to be talked about, and the general public needs to know that they are at risk, no one is immune to HIV/AIDS. HIV does not discriminate. Also, I HATE the stigma associated with this disease. So by talking about it, my hope is to educate and help dispell the misinformation out their on stereotypes etc. when it comes to HIV/AIDS.

Q: What was your goal & vision when you started?

EV: My goal was to break the stereotype associated with HIV/AIDS and give those with this disease hope.

Q: What was the actual experience like?

EV: I got to meet a lot of wonderful people through this project. I made some great friends on the production crew.

Q: What is your hope for the future of THE HIV STORY PROJECT?

EV: I hope that this movie gets into all the big film festivals and gets the attention it is due. I hope it is picked up and shown to the general public. This is a film that people need to see.
